Himitsu Teriyaki in Sammamish

The food is tasty and more importantly close to home. The atmosphere is quaint and local. The service is kind and prompt.

The food here is of very high quality, and the restaurant is kept nice and clean. Overall, I give this restaurant 4 stars, and it makes a good substitute to fast food restaurants, if you're willing to wait a little longer that is.

Above average Teriyaki joint. Good teriyaki and good sushi. Their menu and decent quality brings it to 4 stars in my opinion.

My favoite teriyaki place on the Eastside. When I go anywhere else I am always disappointed. They even have really great vegetarian options for my girlfriend. We are very frequent and happy customers.

If they advertised as Korean, the rating would be higher, but it's deceitful. A Korean in Japanese clothing. for me, the food is just cheap and forgetable. I don't recomend the sushi or ramen unless you are looking for Korean food.Edit: My daughter and I just left without finishing our food. This is a big NOPE!

My first experience was so sour and rude with the host person very rude and prices can't really high,taste so girgery,over ginger on the dishes i order chicken yakisoba and too me,looks more cabbage then any off the rest ingredients,high ginger taste,and the second time was really upset no salad and i order xtra side of salad for my girlfriend when the order show up looks like poor dressing and so dry unfortunately we was so hungry and its is the only place the i know but honestly i can't recommend this place,my experience with great place of asian food was good,not at this poor place

Quality is high and portions are smaller than other teriyaki places. Flavors were great. Only 6 or so tables. Didn't try the fresh sushi bar.

The menu and service were beyond my expectations. We really loved the ambience of this place. First-rate spot to take the family out for dinner.

Consistently super :) We order dragon rolls, sweet & sour chicken & teriyaki beef. My kids beg for it every week. :) The people are so very nice. One of our faves for the last 5 years :). I’m heading there now!

Horrible experience. The man helping was rude and very unprofessional. A lady came up to me for help because the man had kicked her and her son out. I get her son was crying but after talking to me she explained he was tired and hungry. We all know how kids can get. She couldn’t speak English that well so yeah i talked for her. But oh no he got so mad because i asked for her money back. He even threatened to call the cops on me. Honestly i wasn’t even yelling or disrespecting him. Never again.

Absolutely amazing. Great food and great costumer service. They're fast and consistent. I always order the broccoli tofu and I love it. My portion is always huge. My bf gets the chicken and shrimp combo. We won't go to any other teriyaki place.

I'm not sure if these people are aware of the health risk: burnt plastic stick to the food will cause cancer! When you put the super hot fried food in the cheap #6 plastic box, the plastic will just melt and stick to the food! Do you think customers will enjoy consuming the melted plastic and see big burnt holes in the plastic box? I've seen this so many times and decided that I can's stand this anymore. I asked the owner to put aluminum foil under the fried food. First time she pretended that she didn't understand what aluminum foil is. The second time she said OK with reluctance but she just put a tiny paper napkin under the fried food! Putting the aluminum foil under hot food is such a common practice for all other restaurants in this area and I don't know why it is so hard for this restaurant! Please pay attention to the food safety! Otherwise you will drive your customers away.

Food is great, but i am knocking off a star for the service.

Ordered chicken yakisoba and it had no chicken in it and the food tasted like cleaning solution, like they had just cleaned out the wok and not rinsed it. Ugh!!!

Delicious sushi for a reasonable price

First time today. Chicken teriyaki was soso. Much too dry. Vegetable stir fry was really good. My son liked the miso soup a lot. Next time will have to try the sushi.

Nice cozy place for a Teriyaki or Bento.

They only have an "Okay" from the health department. Slow service and smaller portions. The flavor was consistent with other Teriyaki places. Udon was not good.

I love Himitsu! What a great little family-owned restaurant. The chicken teriyaki and fried rice are a staple product that they create in such a simple yet delicious way. One of my favorite lunch stops for sure.

I paid almost $10 for teriyaki and the portion size was so small it was rediculous. Twelve, twelve tiny bite size peices of chicken for $10. With the abundance of teriyaki places around, I would avoid this place. Picture of food above.

This is a very friendly teriyaki shop. They have great food and they do it well. They are a little expensive, but it's Sammamish and the real estate is horribly expensive. Their combos is what I go for, great deal.

Go here because it is closest to work. The service has always been fine. Food is meh, if you feel emptying your wallet for a half empty box. Ambiance is good and it's an overall decent establishment.

Used to love this place. Quality has gone down hill. Especially if you order to-go or via an app. This most recent time is what prompted me to leave MY FIRST EVER REVIEW! I was given the option to pay an additional $2 for extra meat. Not only was the portion size smaller than usual, what little was there was propped up on a bed of chopped iceberg lettuce. Won't be ordering again.

Best Japanese restaurant in Sammamish, possibly even the best in Washington state.
